Here is an old matched set of Maryland license plates from 1933.  These plates are a lot heavier and more steel then today's plates and this one measures about 15" x 6".  Surface rust and fading, still very readable. This is a very hard set to find as a matched set.  The plates themselves are very nice, no rust holes or missing pieces, the plates are pretty straight without a lot of bends or dents.  The numbers still have a lighter color on them, these would be great to repaint or refinish.
