Description
This is an A16 Hasselblad V-series film back in excellent condition #UU224394 [Because this back is loaded with film I cannot check to see if the film holder number matches the back]. It shows minor signs of wear--all cosmetic. You have to look closely to even notice. The leather looks nearly perfect, except where it is receding a bit; the chrome shows very little sign of use. No dings or dents or signs of abuse. The place where these backs show use is on the lower lip of the back where it meets the camera body. As the photo shows, there is virtually no sign of use there. I am wincing as I write this, but I have been seduced by the siren call of large format...8x10. Something about a camera called a Deardorff. I may come to regret selling my beautiful 'blad system, but I cannot afford both, so my entire MF system must go. I have never used this back but I am sure it will serve you very well. It comes with a fresh roll of Kodak Ektar film, a Lindahl dark slide holder on the rear of the back, and a mask. I will be shipping from Earlysville, VA 22936. Shipping weight will be 1+ lbs. I set my asking price according to what the current eBay market is bearing, relative to the condition and model of the item. From that perspective I feel my asking price is fair.Ebay has been a wonderful thing for me. It has enabled me to use some of the finest photographic and stereo gear [among other things] ever made when I never could have even dreamed of affording it new. I am pleased with my feedback record and I have had only very few unpleasant experiences. I will do everything I can to make this a pleasant experience for you. If an issue does arise, I will work with you until it is solved. I do accept returns if you are disappointed for understandable reason. I want ebay to remain a pleasant thing for all of us. I am away fairly frequently so there might be a delay of a few days or longer in shipping. I will let you know if that is the case in this purchase. Every item is packed carefully either in its factory carton, or sealed in plastic in a generic carton and surrounded by peanuts/bubble wrap/wrapping paper. The carton is then usually sealed with duct tape. I have been buying and selling on ebay for twenty years now so I have lots of experience with shipping. I usually ship USPS Priority, which I have found to be very reliable over the years of my using it. International buyers: please do not ask me to engage in deception in order to bring down your cost. I fully understand your desire to do so, but I am not comfortable engaging in deception, whether with eBay or with your country's import taxes.
